1. Agreeing to these terms

Crater Corps is a free online game run by the Crater Corps team ("we"). By playing it you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't play.

2. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age at which you can agree to online services where you live, you need a parent or guardian's permission, and they accept these terms for you.

3. Your nickname and how you play

Your nickname is public. When you play, you agree not to:

• pick a nickname that is offensive, hateful, sexual, or pretends to be someone else;
• harass, threaten or abuse other players;
• cheat, including using bots or scripts, changing the game's code or messages, or deliberately exploiting bugs;
• try to overload, break into or disrupt the servers, or get around limits such as the cap on new profiles;
• use the game for anything illegal.

We may rename or remove a nickname, reset progress, or block a profile or network that breaks these rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you why.

4. Gold, XP and bets

Gold and XP are part of the game's scoring. They have no money value and are not your property. They can't be bought with money, sold, traded, transferred outside the game or exchanged for money, prizes or anything else of value.

Room hosts can set a bet in gold. A bet only moves gold between the players in that match and never involves real money. If a match is cancelled, for example when the server restarts, bets are refunded in gold.

We may adjust balances to fix errors or undo cheating, and we may change how gold and XP are earned.

5. The service

We provide Crater Corps free of charge and as it is. We try to keep it running, but it may be unavailable, change, lose progress, or shut down, sometimes without notice. A server restart cancels the matches in progress.

6. Our game and your content

The game, its code, characters, art, sound and name belong to us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to play it for fun, and you may share screenshots and videos of your matches, including on monetised video channels. You may not copy, sell, or run your own version of the game or its art without our written permission. The open-source software and fonts we use stay under their own licences, listed on the credits page.

7. Warranty and liability

To the extent the law allows, the game is provided without any warranty, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of progress, gold or XP. Because the game is free, our total liability to you is limited to €50 or the equivalent in your currency.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing removes rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

8. Ending your use

You can stop playing at any time and ask us to delete your profile by emailing xxxtrglyn@gmail.com. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here and change the date at the top; if a change is significant, we'll also say so on the home page. Playing after a change means you accept the new terms.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Vietnam, and its courts handle any dispute, unless the law of the country where you live as a consumer gives you the right to bring a claim there. Please contact us first; most problems can be fixed by email.
